Covid Saftey Our artists have been trained on safety processes including Covid 19 prevention and control. Please ensure the artist has space to ensure social distancing guidelines are followed. All costumers will be asked to wash hands and use antibacterial sanitizer before being seated. Brushes and work stations will be cleaned and sanitized after each customer.
Face Painting Materials I only use professional water based face paints which are fully compliant with EU and FDA toy and cosmetic regulations. These paints are specifically for use on the face and skin. Please ensure that face paint is removed by using mild soap/face wash and water and not wet wipes. Wet wipes can cause irritation to the skin when used to remove face paint as it can react with the ingredients in the face paint.
Please ensure that your guests to be face painted are aware of this. Some skin types are prone to some very mild initial staining – a small amount of mild baby shampoo will remove this gently.
My water is changed regularly during a booking and clean sponges are used for each face. All my equipment is thoroughly cleaned after each booking.
I have your children’s safety and interests in mind at all times and as a result I reserve the right not to paint under certain conditions such as the following:
- I cannot work on anyone with a skin disease or disorder, open cuts or flaking skin, or any infectious disease including but not limited to: conjunctivitis or other eye infections, cold sores, Impetigo, severe acne, flu and chicken pox.
- I am not insured to paint any child under the age of two years old. Children over two may be painted at the discretion of the painter, depending on the child and whether they want to be painted.
- I will only Paint children who are 2 years or older who are able to understand what we are doing and are willing to participate, this is at the discretion of the artist.
- If you believe the person to be painted has sensitive skin, a skin patch test can be carried out. It is the guardian’s responsibility to inform me of this in advance if this is the case. I cannot be held liable for any allergic reaction to the paint.
- Without prejudice I reserve the right not to paint any persons I feel should not be painted.
Terms & Conditions
The host/parent is responsible at all times for the general supervision of the children within the party/event venue, whether at home or at any other premises, for the supervision of exits and for ensuring that children only leave the party venue with their own parent or guardian.
Two chairs are to be made available to the face painter, if this is not possible please advise at the time of booking. If the face painter is required to work outside, suitable cover/shelter must be arranged. If there are parking fees to be paid in order to attend an event these must be covered by the client.
If a parking permit is needed, please make the necessary arrangements for one to be available for the face painter.
For a two hour party/event the face painter will expect to work continuously with no break. If the birthday tea needs to take place, the face painter will continue with children coming one at a time to be painted and then return to the table. For longer events a 15 minute break may be necessary.
If more guests than anticipated require painting at your event, it will be at the discretion of the face painter as to whether they can stay longer than booked in order to continue. This will depend on other commitments on the day. Extra time will be charged at £20 per half hour extra the face painter is required to stay.
Once the face painter has finished and packed away, they will not be able to re-set up to accommodate a latecomer.
If for any unforeseen reason the face painter is unable to get to your event due to matters beyond my control, your deposit will be refunded in full, although I will of course, make every reasonable effort to meet my fulfillments. Please note we are unable to provide any refund for bad weather, so please consider covered venues or a bad weather contingency plan.
Rogue Designs shall not have any liability to the client for any loss, damage, costs or expenses, which the client suffers or incurs arising out of the event unless arising out of gross negligence or willful misconduct of Rogue Designs.
